David W. Donahue

David has been in the securities business since 1958 when he graduated from The Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Dave learned the bond business at Halsey Stuart & Co., the brokerage business at White Weld & Co. and Tucker Anthony (which ultimately became RBC Dain Rauscher), and portfolio management at Loomis Sayles & Co., where he served as President of the Loomis Sayles Mutual Fund, a balanced fund, from 1970-1973. Dave graduated from Bowdoin College in 1954, and joined the U.S. Army shortly thereafter. He holds the Series 1, 63 and 65 licenses.

Dave lives in Winchester, MA and Carefree, AZ with his wife of over 50 years. He is an avid sports fan and golfer, and keeps his handicap low with phenomenal putting.


David W. Donahue, Jr., CFA

(D.J.) began his career in the mutual fund business with Fidelity Investments in 1987. From there, he joined the money management firm of Freedom Capital Management as a research analyst and ultimately managed portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, pension funds, and foundations. In 1994, D.J. joined Tucker Anthony to build his own portfolio management practice. In 2005 he left RBC Dain Rauscher (the successor firm to Tucker Anthony) to join Moors and Cabot and create EagleClaw Capital Management. He is a 1987 graduate of Bowdoin College and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1993. He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the CFA Institute, and holds the Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.

DJ lives in Hingham, MA with his wife and 3 children. In addition to spending free time with his family, DJ enjoys fishing, woodworking, and has recently taken up mountain biking.


Katherine Kelliher

Ms. Kelliher has served as Eagleclaw Capital Management’s Chief Compliance Officer since September of 2018.  Ms. Kelliher also works for the Compliance Department at Moors & Cabot, an affiliated firm based in Boston, MA. Prior to Eagleclaw and Moors & Cabot, Ms. Kelliher worked at Metlife where she was the Regional Compliance Coordinator for the New England region. She has also worked for Canaccord Genuity Inc., a Canadian Investment Bank, and Morgan Stanley. Ms. Kelliher received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Stonehill College. She is active in various charitable organizations in the Boston area.  As a Registered Representative of Moors & Cabot, Inc., Ms. Kelliher holds Series 3, 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses. 

 

Julie Curtin

Julie Curtin joined EagleClaw Capital Management in 2014, and assists our team in all facets of operations and customer-based services. Prior to joining our team, she began her career as an operations associate at Adams, Harkness & Hill, Inc., in a role that involved her acting as an internal liaison between the firm’s operations department and trading desk. From there, she moved on to become a sales associate at Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley, where she gained valuable experience in customer service and account administration.

She currently resides in Arlington with her husband and two daughters.

 

Scot B. Wilks, CFP®

Scot grew up locally in West Newbury, MA, and attended Bates College in Lewiston, ME, where he studied English and Economics. After graduating in 2007, Scot joined Moors & Cabot and earned his Series 7, 66, and Life/Health licenses. In 2012, Scot joined Fidelity Investments, where he earned his CFP designation and emerged as a detail-oriented financial planner with a deep commitment to his clients and their families.  From 2018 to 2024, Scot served as Fidelity’s lead advisor to high-net-worth clients with complex planning needs from the firm’s “Flagship” office in Boston’s Post Office Square before joining EagleClaw Capital in January 2025.

Today, Scot and his wife Anne live in Andover, MA, with their son Henry (8) and daughter Lucy (5).  Outside of the office, Scot enjoys coaching youth hockey, working in the yard or in his workshop, and teaching his kids the joys of fishing (which is a work in progress).

 

Britton Defeo

Britton joined Eagleclaw Capital Management in 2024 as a Registered Client Associate (RCA). He graduated from Hamilton College in 2022, where he was a member of the lacrosse team and earned a spot on the Dean's List. Prior to joining EagleClaw, Britton worked as an Investment Associate at Santander, acquiring seven licensing certifications within a year. He was primarily tasked with maintaining regulatory standards within the firm on an operational and principal level, specializing in managed equity accounts. With a strong passion for investment analysis, Britton is dedicated to providing insightful financial services. Britton currently holds the Series 4, 7, 24, 66, and Life and Health Insurance licenses.
